    Dude! Spoilers!

Pretty sure Osserc was a separate entity to Anomander. While the Andii were from Mother Dark, the Liosan were from Father Light. Which would be weird since that would make Osserc the nephew of Anomander and bros. Idk. Gotta have to read that one again.

They have a weird tettarcy. 3 books are about one plot, then they skip to another plot for 3 Books and so on and then they all converge in the end. Going along with his overarching theme of Convergence.

That’s a great way to describe it actually.
Still ShadowThrone and Cotillion are the best, oh and Karsa Orlong that guy is the epitome of Conan lol

What did you guys think about WOT series by Robert Jordan??
I started reading those books when I was like 15-16 years old. I finished the serie, and it sucked RJ died before he could finish them.
Then Brandon Sanderson (?) took over for the rest and the writing style change was to glaring for me to enjoy and seemed he was just trying to hurry it to the end of the series to quickly.
Overall I liked it but some of the endings, not so much

It might be Karkanas, its a prequel trilogy I believe about everything the the Andii, and how they left Mother Dark, before Anomander Rake got the sword from the guy who made it

I had to check the malazan wiki and it says Mother Dark Created Father Light and Father Light created Osseric. I don't quite understand the hierarchy but didn't Mother Dark created the bros? Wouldn't that make Father Light their bro as well?

I'm one of the rare ones who thought that trudging through the middle books is worth it.

And my theory craft contribution to the series:
I believe the Seanchan continent is connected to Shara if their world is round. Since the Seanchan royal family is black like the Sharans yet Luthair was white.

Oh, when’s the first book of the Karsa series coming? I’ll have to pick it up.
Also how did his tale end?? I can’t remember. Spoiler tag or DM would work

yeah I forgot about that. But Tuath ‘An(?) Sean Chan empress was black cause she was native shara. I also thought the history of the Aiel, was fascinating, peaceful people with exception of the few who got tired of being stepped on. Was amazing. And the culture and similarities between the two races is pretty intriguing
I liked Mat over Rand, his journey was way more interesting to me, especially with The Snakes and Foxes angle .
