You found magic mushrooms in the wild?

The Amanita Musca-whatever. Aren't those supposed to kill you?

Used to go porcini picking with my dad. He would make bank selling them to restaurants. Looking back though I'm surprised he knew what he was doing and that we didn't kill anyone.

We used to see those Mario mushrooms on our hunts. I wish I knew about drug dealing at that age because while he was selling those porcinis I'd be slanging those.

I'm an AD mofo too. Tried microdosing before but didnt notice benefits maybe because I was still on lisdexamphetamine at the time. Gonna try and come off them and try cbd oil and kratom.. maybe give psilocybin microdosing a go again too, see if it works any better without the damn speed pills.

Having recently run out of AD, and not being in my country with all the healthcare and stuff, I did feel the crash of mood pretty well and the psylos are doing quite a good job to rise it up.
I eat 2-3 of thoses (mine being small, maybe a quarter of yours, don't know about the concentration though) and the following hour things get interesting again. I like to talk about stuff again, get curious, humorous, happily get my ass out etc, for around 6 hours. I'm not tripping at all but the effect is noticeable, like I just took a very little dose MDMA mixed with cannabis.
I still massively drink at night so yeah, I'm not the perfect guinea pig either.

Processed a few logs this morning in order to show some pics of the Shiitake cultivation process to you folk.

Step 1 : Setup shop. Assuming you've already harvested your logs, you'll need a drill, hammer, Shiitake plugs, beeswax (crock pot to melt it, paint brush to apply).

Drill Hole (5/16 bit). Spaced equally about the length of your bit, and stagger next row.

Plug hole and pound in with hammer.

Finish: Seal with beeswax and that's pretty much it:

That's the breaks man, sorry to hear. Squirrels got my folks for most of their pears this year, as there's been a recent population boom and they're everywhere.

EDIT: Slugs will get on the Shiitakes is you don't harvest them quickly.

They aren't too difficult to find when they are in season at this time of year.

Does the log method work for trip shrooms? Can you do it inside? Just curious.

My grandparents apparently used to take my mom foraging a lot but she never passed on the skills. Whenever we go back to Poland I'm baffled by the sight of old ladies on the sides of forest roads selling big jars of what look like freshly foraged chantarelles for just a few zloty.

I don't like shitakes but most others I love.

Wouldn't that be great!? I don't think so, though.

    I love shrooms.
Oddly enough, I prefer canned shrooms on pizza.

I'd like to try growing lions mane, shitakes, and oysters at some point. Usually i half-ass projects, but i want to do a bit more research and built a nice setup.

I think i have some reishi (ganoderma tsugae) growing right behind my house . They are not great for eating due to texture, but allegedly have some health benefits when used to make tea or tincture. From what i have read there are no poisonous look-alikes. Going to try propagating if i can somehow positively identify them.
