M-1, ACB or FNG should try to make Khabib Vs GSP in Russia.

    Would buy the PPV.

Ufc was fine when GSP left. They will be fine when a guy who has been popular for a week is gone

Credibility is the key here. The stain will be much bigger than money.

The only hit UFC would take is a hit to the credibility of its titles (which are meaningless as is). Khabib is not a big draw on his own. UFC only goes out of its way to protect its big cash cows (Conor, Lesnar, Rousey, GSP, Jones).

interesting, you don't think it would damage the brand? Now even the casuals on espn are taking khabib side.

Zero IMO. Not trying to troll just because i´m a Conor fan but the UFC needs entertainers with fighting talent.

    That wig just isn´t enough.

UFC would take 0 hit. There are so many guys at LW right now that could easily replace Khabib.

He’s a draw, and UFC will make more money with him than without. But that wasn’t the question.

They’ll be fine without Khabib. Shit, they’ve been fine without Brock (though they make more with him).

It would be the equivalent of the "hit" Tesla Boy took from Rogaine's spliff. All mouth, no lung.

If he decides to leave he will 'pop' for PEDs.
Fight with Conor will be a nc.
Conor will fight Tony for the vacant belt.

    None...

The UFC would move on like nothing had ever happened.

Khabib is delusional with his blackmail tactics.

Now this is #1 bullshit. i hope he gets cut so bad.

Khabib really has zero leverage here. UFC have fedor like situation for a few years as an arguable goat fought in smaller associations. The immediate future = yes the credibility takes a dive, long term = not a chance. As far as sales and such the whole thing would be forgotten about rather quickly to casuals and Conor or tony would find some way to bring eyes back to the UFC.

    2 points:

    1) Khabib wouldn’t be allowed to fight or sell PPV in any jurisdiction where US law can stop them. That would limit his value as direct competition.

    2) a few thousand fans like us dorky ass forum dwellers will know there is a wrestler out there who is better than Conor and likely better than Tony, but most will quickly forget once Conor and Tony square off. They don’t care about that shit, they just want to enjoy a fight and forget about their wives and eat salty chips for 4 hours on a random Saturday.

Would be good. They could probably make a fight between Conor and someone winnable and Conor could be champ again.
