id rather have cormier and beat than that abomination womens flyweight fight. even luke thomas was shitting on that idea.

card would be solid great if nate and poirer was still on. that takes a lot away from the event. i dont know why they just didnt make it a 5 round main event. they insist on having a title fight on every ppv for some reason

they did nate-conor two times without a belt, idk why they just didn't book nate and poirer to main event

Well yeah he’s almost 40 with a wife and two kids. I can’t sit here and act high and mighty like I wouldn’t do exactly what DC is doing if I were I’m his shoes. I respect that he straight up said it....he wants to provide for his wife and children financially. DL could very well KO DC that’s part of the game, at this point though he rightfully and intelligently Is taking a nice payday for what he deems to be a fight that won’t tax his body anymore than it’s already been taxed

Watch this backfire. DC gets KOed and loses out on the Lesnar fight. Black Beast gets the belt and loses it to Lesnar early next yr. Stipe fights and beats the winner of Ngannou-Blayde for the #1 contender spot. He destroys Brock and regains his tiltle. Meanwhile in the LHW division, DC begs to fight the winner of Jones-Gus as his retirement fight.

For the record, I think that this scenario doesn't happen though. DC chokes an exhausted Lewis out.

What do you want him to do?? say no just cause you think that is an easy fight?? WTF? you didnt read? the guy wasn't supposed to fight. Suddenly they give him a fight he thinks he can definitely win without killing himself training like a mofo kind of short notice like if he was fighting a guy like Stipe...at the same time he will make some serious money!! I mean..it is a no brainer. If you dont like honesty sir you must be a douchebag...hell, you must be a Conor or Jon Jones fan right??

Imagine: Cormier crushes Black Beast, Jon Jones moves up, then Cormier FINISHES Jones and retires.

    Why?

He’s retiring and looking for 2 huge paydays before that, who wouldn’t do that???

It was a good business decision for Cormier as he gets closer to retirement.

Fighters like Cormier don't need to get hyped up like Conor. In fact, people underrated Cormier against Stipe.

Lol far from a terrible fight. A good main event. Diaz Dustin is a big loss though, agreed
